Biography
|
Julie Wolsztynski (b. 1984) is a French photographer.
Her work is a quest for safety and comfort through images. Julie works exclusively with film photography, embracing the image as it is, not seeking perfection but finding beauty in its authenticity and natural state. Her creative process is paradoxal. The maturation takes and immensely long time while the execution is an intense wave. A release that sweeps everything away. She focuses her work on the ordinary, wandering, and solitude, offering the viewer a poetic perspective on banality: an abandoned city; a laundromat; a roadside; an underwood… Her work has been exhibited in Paris and Washington areas. |
