Bio

Born and raised in France in the '80s.

“I am not quite sure when my journey into photography began. But I remember very vividly the feeling that coursed through me when I understood the power this medium could have for both the photographer and the viewer. My first photography aspiration was very far from the path I ended up following, so, as the years pass, I have come to accept the fact that I did not choose this artistic pathway consciously (probably like many).

This aesthetic exploration has been a quiet dedication to exploring emptiness, solitude and the pursuit of some kind of photographic poetry, meant to soothe a restless mind. I believe that even though they are often depopulated, my photographs are full of life, a discreet life, I admit. Those who listen carefully will hear whispers, a dog barking in the distance or footsteps of a returning passerby.

As I step into a new chapter, after a long break, my focus turns a little more inward, guided by an urge to explore a deep personal reservoir and by an unchanged love for film photography. I do not know where this is going to take me but I know it will be worth the trip.”
